BEP Group

The Business Education Partnership (UK) Ltd, operating across Essex and East London, is a registered charity known as BEP Group.  Since 1992, we have been delivering enterprise education, work related learning and work experience. Our alternative education provision for young people, aged 14 – 16 started in 1999 and became a registered independent school, BEP Academy, in 2017.

  • BEP Academy (AP Independent School)
    Across both sites (Romford and Basildon) we currently provide a full-time alternative education programme for 90 Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils, from 40 secondary schools and local authorities.
  • BEP Trident (Work Experience)
    We currently provide one or two-week work experience placements to c8,000 children from 40 secondary schools.

  • Central London Health & Safety pre-placement checks
    Our Central London H&S service offers pre-placement checks for work experience organisers (EBPs and others) from across the country. Contact the Trident office (01708 436443) for details.

BEP Academy was Inspected by Ofsted between the 24th and 26th of March 2026. We are delighted to report that as a school community (students, parents, staff and leaders) we were judged to have met the standard in four areas and met the strong standard in a further three areas:

We are, of course, delighted with the outcome and our students and staff alike feel very proud to be part of the BEP Academy family.
